Starting this Friday, April 1st, Betsy’s Bistro will be testing a new menu designed to help ease the transition for its incoming 2022 freshman class this fall. How? By implementing the Unit 4 Elementary School Menu.
Owner and operator Sue Donem says: “We know that the change from high school to college is hard. So our team has been trying new and exciting ways to help make that a little easier.”
Students can look forward to many school lunch favorites such as: blue raspberry slushies, tater tots, mandarin orange cups, and broccoli with cheese sauce.
“The plan is to exchange the current set up for our daily hot lunch to something a little more familiar for our students.” Donem continued. “Of course, our usual options of cheeseburgers and in-house made pizza will remain the same but we hope that this will provide yet another popular option for students.”
What’s on the menu for this Friday?
Pepperoni Breadtangle pizza, Mozzarella cheese sticks, with a marinara dipper with a side of cauliflower florets.
Don’t forget to get your milk before leaving! Half pint cartons of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry milk are available for 25 cents.
Just kidding. If any of this sounded good, sorry to disappoint — the Betsy’s Bistro menu is staying the same. April Fools!
