Tucked away on the corner of 300 W Springfield Avenue in Champaign lies a locally owned garden, decor, and holiday hub reigning in its 55th anniversary.
Though many are just getting over spooky season and setting their eyes on the Thanksgiving meal to be had at the end of the month, Prairie Gardens is getting a head start on Christmas spirit.
Prairie Gardens hosted a Christmas Open House exclusively on the weekends of October 28th-30th and November 4th-6th. During this time, the store provided everything from limited-time deals, apple cider samples, children’s arts and crafts (which includes a hot cocoa bar!), and a pre-decorated Christmas tree giveaway.
For those who are anti-Christmas in November… don’t worry. While much of the store is, in fact, overrun by tinsel and noel mugs, there are certainly areas to appease you. Prairie Gardens is stocked with an assortment of pumpkins, squash, faux autumn flowers, and harvest-themed decor.
Holidays aside, Prairie Gardens is a multifaceted facility; the perfect seasonal, garden, and craft store with a vast selection of candles, ribbons, greenery, and yard decor. The store also offers services such as custom framing. And don’t forget to check out their boutique that offers unique accessories, clothing, and trinkets!
Whether you’re looking to decorate your home for the holidays, spruce up your garden, or find a gift for a loved one, Prairie Gardens should be at the top of your list. For more information visit their website.
