Parkland Theater is gearing up to present its second show of the semester, Broadway hit The Good Doctor from March 23-26.
The Good Doctor is a combination of various comedy sketches. One features an elderly woman harassing a bank manager about his illness and low status. Another sketch follows a prominent seducer who has set his sights on a married woman. Other short skits will include a man offering to drown himself in exchange for three rubles and a father attempting to educate his son on mature themes.
The production was written by Neil Simon and is directed by Michael O’Brien. The cast includes actors Alison Wiltgen, Braedon Arnett, Mia-Belle Shannon, Jay Kaboff, Macey Hamm, Grace Staph, Izzy Mangren, Alex Loutris, Tanner Moore, and Reid Harvey.
Performances will be held in the Second Stage Theater. Showtimes will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 23-25. An earlier showtime will take place on the concluding show on Mar. 26 at 3 p.m.
Warning: the play has an adult rating due to mature content, language, and themes. The production will also use fog.
