After a long winter exacerbated by the social distancing issues caused by COVID-19, spring fever seemed like something more desperate that feverish. When a couple of blasts of snow came through just over a week ago, it seemed that every day we had to wait for the daffodils and irises, for the cherry blossoms, for the pollinating insects, felt like a week instead. Prospectus photographer Kyra Carlisle set out to capture the spring bloom when it finally arrived.
